Jondaryan State School offers a wide range of facilities. The large school grounds incorporates two ovals and a generous play area. In 2020 the school was successful in obtaining a Local Schools Community Fund Grant to further enhance the students outdoor play area. A 360 Whirl Swing, spring See-Saw Rocker as well as a Rocking Roadster were added to the adventure playground. This playground caters for the students to improve and develop their gross motor skills as well as enhance their social interactions with others students whilst enjoying physical outdoor play. The School also has a play area off synthetic turf with hopscotch and hand ball squares. Coloured shade sails cover the eating area and synthetic turf, providing a fantastic area for students to eat and play. Students can also enjoy the outdoors in the covered sandpit complete with a large array of sand toys. The school has a great deal of sporting equipment, educational resources, toys and art supplies. Jondaryan State School has a tennis court, which is enjoyed by students and parents from the school.
Jondaryan State School has beautiful grounds complete with murals, alphabet caterpillar and number lady beetles to facilitate early learning. In 2014 a bike track, complete with a round about, pedestrian crossings and road signs was installed. Students have the opportunity to learn road safety while riding the school bicycles or scooters.
The school has a working tuckshop that is available to students once a week
The Activities Building, which was one of the original old school buildings, houses a well stocked library and is also utilised for Music and Drama lessons.
The three general teaching areas are all air-conditioned giving our students a comfortable modern and engaging learning environment to work in. Jondaryan State School is exceptionally well-resourced in the area of technology. The school has a ratio of one computer per child. The schools iPad's are used throughout the classes in a variety of learning areas. Each classroom is equipped with an interactive 65" Smart Board. All students at Jondaryan State School have access to the latest technologies and learning experiences including Bee Bots for the lower years and Dash and Dot and Sphero robots are used in the upper year levels.
